This ebonised table is in the manner of E.W. Godwin and has a square top with beveled straight edges.
Each of the legs are turned then below the lower tier of the table the legs are square and tapered with arched angled carved supports.
Tables of this particular design and of this period don't come up that often.
This table is a lovely piece of furniture and would look great in a sitting room or as a bedside table.
Very useable as is but could do with some restoration to get the piece back to its former glory again.
