This good quality table which is attributed to James Shoolbred & Co has a square moulded top, which sits on four tapered splayed legs with gothic style open fretwork on each leg.

The lower tier has an open fret work gallery on all four sides.

This table has an impressed stamp mark of 1 0 2 1 as shown in one of the photos. 

James Shoolbred & Co were established in the 1820's at 155 Tottenham Court Rd, London, W1. They became famous for designing, manufacturing and selling high quality furniture. 

In the 1880's Shoolbred had opened London's first large department store as suppliers of furniture at Tottenham House, on Tottenham Court Road. 

Shoolbred was granted a Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria in 1885 as supplier's to the royal household and as testament to the excellent design of aesthetic furniture and other high quality pieces. 

All in all this is a very beautiful table that would look very nice in ones home, suitable as a bedside table or next to a sofa or armchair.
