A lime wood occasional table from a design by Liberty & Co.

This Japanese carved table is most lightly by Liberty & Co but as its not stamped I cannot say for certain. 

The table is of a very nice quality and is slightly larger in size than most other tables of the same design, which due to it's height would be perfect as a bedside table next to a high bed or for a hallway etc. 

From the measurements below you will see its about dining table height, which makes it much more useful than most tables of the same design which tend to be smaller. 

You will find the quality of the carving of the foliate on the top and legs is done extremely well. 

This is an octagonal table which stands on four cabriole legs with a useful lower tier for books. It also has great colour and is in great condition and is dated circa 1940.
