A good quality arts and crafts oak occasional table is in the manner of Liberty & Co

This charming good quality table is made out of oak. It is dated early 20c and is very much of the arts and crafts period and in the manner of Liberty & Co. 

The table has a nicely polished finish, with a square top having a moulded edge with a pieced frieze below on all four sides. The table is raised on four square splayed tapered legs with a very useful lower tier which could be used for books and has a matching moulded edge.

You will find on the underside of the lower tier the is an impressed number stamp of 4 9 3 as per photo from when it was manufactured.

This table would look great as a bedside table or as an occasional table for next to a sofa or an armchair.
