One walnut occasional table by James Shoolbred & Co circa 1890.

This is a very good example of one of James Shoolbred's occasional tables, which has been copied by many cabinet makers over the years. 

Below the square walnut top, the table has four tapered splayed legs which are nicely pieced. 

The lower tier has an open fret work gallery on all four sides.  

Please note that the table has an impressed stamp mark of James Shoolbred & Co and numbered 7 6 4 7 plus an original makers plaque of James Shoolbred & Co as per photo.  

This table would look very good as a bedside table, as a hall table or for next to an armchair or sofa.
