An unusual oil painting on board of Dieppe Harbour by David Cedric Morris.

He was an english artist and was born on the 11 Sep 1924 and died on the 29 Oct 2007. Morris got a scholarship to Oxford university and went to Magdalen College.

After the second world war he went on and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.

During his life he had various exhibitions at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Royal Academy where this picture was exhibited in 1987.

The picture is in it's original pine frame.
